If you're after a solid, no-fuss flooring solution that handles everything from indoor spaces to outdoor decks, our 19mm composite cement sheets are worth a look. These boards are built tough yet stay surprisingly light, making them easy to lug around and install without breaking your back. We've designed them as a versatile base for tiles, vinyl, carpet, or timber overlays, but they can also stand alone with a simple seal for that raw concrete vibe.
Each sheet comes with tongue and groove edges along the long sides for a snug, seamless join - no gaps or wobbles. They're made from an engineered cement mix without skimping on strength.
At about 40kg per sheet, they're a breeze to handle on site. Cut them with standard fibre cement tools - no fancy gear needed. They're non-combustible too, which is handy for fire-prone areas, and they offer decent sound dampening for multi-level builds.
We've recently completed independent fire testing (reports available upon request):
- Radiant Heat Flux Test (AS ISO 9239.1-2003): Critical Heat Flux (CHF) ≥11.0 kW/m² with ultra-low smoke production at 1% min average - resists flame spread in high-heat scenarios.
- Cone Calorimeter Test (AS/NZS 3837-1998): No ignition after 10 mins at 50 kW/m² exposure; minimal smoke (5.4 m²/kg) and heat release (<0.5 MJ/m²) - contributes almost nothing to fire growth.
These results point to Group 1 fire rating potential, making them a smart pick for safety-focused builds.
