If you're after a solid, no-fuss flooring solution that handles everything from indoor spaces to outdoor decks, our 19mm composite cement sheets are worth a look. These boards are built tough yet stay surprisingly light, making them easy to lug around and install without breaking your back. We've designed them as a versatile base for tiles, vinyl, carpet, or timber overlays, but they can also stand alone with a simple seal for that raw concrete vibe.
Each sheet comes with tongue and groove edges along the long sides for a snug, tight join, no gaps or wobbles. They're made from an engineered cement mix without skimping on strength.
At about 40kg per sheet, they're a breeze to handle on site. Cut them with standard fibre cement tools, no fancy gear needed. They resist ignition, which is handy for fire-prone areas, and they offer decent sound dampening for multi-level builds.
The 19mm sheet has been independently fire-tested by AWTA, a NATA-accredited laboratory (test reports available on request):
- AS/NZS 1530.3:1999 (early fire hazard): Ignitability 0, Spread of Flame 0, Heat Evolved 0, Smoke Developed 0-1.
- AS/NZS 3837:1998 (cone calorimeter): the sheet failed to ignite within 10 minutes at 50 kW/m².
- AS ISO 9239.1:2003 (flooring): critical heat flux of 11.0 kW/m² or higher, smoke value 1 %.min.
