Our 6m x 3m skid cabin with a verandah is built at our East Bendigo factory and delivered to site by crane or tilt-tray. The verandah is included in the 6650mm total roof length and gives you a covered entry or a spot to sit out of the sun. It's the model most people pick as a compact transportable granny flat, and it also works as a home office, guest room, or studio.
It sits on a heavy-duty welded DuraGal base with lifting points, so it's set down in one spot and stays put, and it arrives fully fitted and ready to use.

Comfort and finish
The 75mm panels and double-glazed windows and door hold the temperature steadily through the Victorian seasons, with a 2.6kW reverse-cycle air conditioner for heating and cooling. Inside you get grey vinyl flooring, block-out blinds and curtains, and LED lighting, with a 15A commercial inlet ready to connect on site. The two windows and the covered verandah keep the inside bright while giving you a usable outdoor space.
Using it as a granny flat
This is the model most buyers choose for a compact transportable granny flat, whether that's housing a parent, an adult child, or a long-term guest. It arrives fully fitted from our Bendigo factory, delivered by crane or tilt-tray, and ready to connect to mains power, water, and drainage, without the cost and time of an on-site build.
What we don't do: we don't build granny flats on site, we don't offer custom architectural or plan design, and we don't make two-bedroom standalone granny flats. This is a transportable cabin, fitted out and delivered as you see it.
Permit requirements for a secondary dwelling or granny flat vary by council, property type, block size, and intended use, and some councils treat a transportable dwelling differently to a fixed one. Always check with your local council about permits, siting, and connecting to services before purchasing.

Every cabin is built to order at our East Bendigo factory, so a 50% deposit secures your build slot and current lead times vary with demand.
